Horsmonden |
The History of Horsmonden In its day Horsmonden was the centre of iron making, and today the
pond which lies on the west of the village is a reminder of this as it is one of the
finest artificial lakes used by iron masters.
Sojourn's View Horsmonden is a small village with perhaps not a lot to see or do once there, but if you are in the area perhaps on your way to Tunbridge Wells then driving though will allow you to see a typical small English village. A walk in the countryside is lovely and there is a public footpath leading straight to Horsmonden church, which is a peaceful and relaxing walk of two miles.
